Memorial Trees Valley of the Temples

For the grandmother who made the lei

Plumeria

$45.00

Fragrant white blossoms that come back every year, the way her love still does.

For Tūtū, and every lei she made

Some of us learned love at Tūtū’s kitchen table, threading plumeria onto a long needle while she talked story. The smell of those flowers can still bring her right back.

Plumeria rests in the cooler months and blooms again when the warm season returns. Plant one in her honor, and let every new blossom be a lei she is still making for you.

Caring for your plant

  • Full sun.
  • Water deeply, then let the soil dry out before watering again.
  • Grows into a small tree and blooms from spring into fall.

Each plant is about two to three feet tall when you take it home.
